Meet the OTTLIV from the Paris Hospitals (AP-HP) at the BIO Convention in San Diego

logo_BIOOTT & PI will be present as part of the French delegation to the BIO 2014 convention business which runs from June 23 to 26, 2014 in San Diego . BIO convention is a major convention for innovation actors in the field of health and medicine. This convention, organized by the  Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) is held each year in the United States and gathers major industrial biotechnology, technology transfer offices of public institutions (universities, hospitals, research institutes), professional associations, and representatives of the main regions of the countries represented at BIO. In addition our team will benefit from this opportunity to meet with business and technology partners around the world. Other Tech Transfer Offices were of course also represented, including those of various French institutions: CEA, CNRS, Genopole IGR Inserm, Institut Pasteur and Institut Curie.

  • 25,537 scheduled appointments between more than 3,000 companies representing 65 countries


The AP-HP  on the French booth  :

Like many countries, France will be present with a booth gathering the different french regions. The AP-HP will be present in the stand of the Ile de France region, coordinated by the Regional Development Agency and the Medicen cluster. The booth is the privileged place for exchange with the many visitors to the area, with potential partners for AP-HP but it is also a venue of the strengths of the AP-HP for innovation, research and clinical care. To this end, more than 150 flyers and lists of available technologies will be disseminated and a presentation of the AP-HP will be presented throughout the Convention on the screens of the French booth.
